Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information across our website, programmes, and communications.

Holistic Vibrant Health (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.holisticvibranthealth.com and our related programmes, coaching, and communications (the “Services”), how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use.

We operate from South Africa and serve clients worldwide, including in the United States and Europe. Where applicable, we aim to honour the data protection principles found in South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and to give clients in other regions comparable rights described in Section 10 below.

1. Introduction

This Policy applies to personal information we collect when you visit our website, subscribe to our newsletter, purchase a programme or digital product, book a coaching or iridology session, submit an enquiry, join our WhatsApp channel, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact & account information: your name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide when submitting a contact form, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing a programme.

  • Order & billing information: billing address and payment details necessary to process a purchase. Full card details are handled by our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our own systems.

  • Health & wellness information you choose to share: when you book a coaching or iridology consultation, or take part in a detox or challenge programme, you may voluntarily share health-related information (for example, symptoms, medical history, dietary habits, iris photographs, or pet health details) to help us tailor our guidance. This information is only used for the purposes you provide it for, as described below.

  • Communications: messages you send us via email, our contact form, or WhatsApp, and any correspondence during a coaching relationship.

  • Technical & usage information: information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages, collected automatically when you use the website, typically via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, personalise, and improve our programmes, coaching, and iridology services;

  • Process purchases, bookings, and payments, and provide related customer support;

  • Send programme materials, appointment confirmations, and service-related communications;

  • Send newsletters, healing insights, and marketing communications, where you have opted in, and always with an option to unsubscribe;

  • Respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form or other channels;

  • Maintain the security, integrity, and proper functioning of our website;

  • Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and, where enabled, measure the performance of our content and marketing. This may include standard analytics and marketing tools commonly used by small businesses to understand website traffic and campaign performance. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; please note that some parts of the website may not function as intended if cookies are disabled.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Services — for example, website hosting providers, payment processors, email and newsletter platforms, and scheduling or booking tools — who are only permitted to use your information to perform services on our behalf;

  • Professional advisers, such as accountants or legal counsel, where necessary;

  • Authorities, where required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to a valid legal request;

  • A successor entity, in the event of a business transition such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

6. Payment & Third-Party Service Providers

When you make a purchase, your payment is handled by a third-party payment processor rather than being collected and stored directly by us. That processor collects and processes your payment details in accordance with its own privacy policy and security standards. Similarly, where we use third-party tools for email marketing, scheduling, or website analytics, those providers process limited personal information on our behalf, subject to their own privacy and security practices. We select service providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for personal information.

7. International Data Transfers

Because we serve clients worldwide and use service providers that may operate outside South Africa (including in the United States and Europe), your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it continues to be protected in a manner consistent with this Policy.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect the personal information we hold against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our Services, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights in relation to your personal information, which may include the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you;

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions;

  • Object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing of your information;

  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, including unsubscribing from marketing emails using the link in any newsletter;

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in South Africa, the Information Regulator.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 14. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

11. Health & Wellness Information

Note: Any health, wellness, or pet-health information you share with us during a coaching, consultation, or programme relationship is used solely to provide the guidance you have requested, and is treated with particular care given its sensitive nature. We do not use this information for advertising or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

As set out in our Terms of Use, our Services provide general educational and holistic health guidance and are not a substitute for professional medical care.

12. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to remove it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers or customers by email.
